It is with profound sorrow that we share the news of Siehera M. Behr's passing. She left us on Sunday, March 30, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the young age of 31. Her loss is felt profoundly by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral mass to honor her life will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 1501 W. 26th Street in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Friends and family are invited to join us for a visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Miller Southside Chapel, 7400 S. Minnesota Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD, where we can share memories and offer support to one another.

Siehera Marie was born on November 21, 1993, to Kevin and Nila (Bohls) Thibodeau, bringing joy to her family from the very beginning. She was born in Watertown, South Dakota, but grew up in Toronto, South Dakota, and graduated from Deubrook High School in 2012. After high school, she pursued her education at South Dakota State University, where she studied general studies, and later earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota. Her passion for knowledge led her to earn a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, reflecting her commitment to making a positive impact in the world.

On September 18, 2021, Siehera celebrated a beautiful union with her husband, Anthony A. Behr, in Luverne, Minnesota. Together, they made their home in Sioux Falls, where Siehera devoted her professional life to being a community mentor leader with Lutheran Social Services (LSS). Her unwavering dedication to helping and guiding children in her community was truly inspiring.

Siehera had an extraordinary gift for nurturing those around her. She found fulfillment in volunteering at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she gently rocked babies, providing them with comfort and warmth. She also had a heart full of compassion for animals, frequently fostering pets and adopting dogs. Yet, above all, her greatest joy came from spending cherished moments with her husband and exploring the world together.

Her love and kindness continue to resonate through those she leaves behind, including her beloved husband, Anthony Behr; her mother, Nila Thibodeau; her father, Kevin (Tammy) Thibodeau; her brothers, Kevin and Kyle Thibodeau; her step-brother, Brayden Topp; and numerous half-siblings. Siehera is also survived by her grandparents, Jim Thibodeau and Colleen (Martin) McNeese; and her parents-in-law, Bonnie Behr and Arnie (Carla) Behr. Siehera will also be missed by her sisters and brothers-in-law as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom are mourning her untimely departure.

Siehera was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Monetta Thibodeau, grandpa Ron, and her step-sister, Sakara Topp. As we come together to remember Siehera, let us honor her spirit and the impact she made in our lives. She will be forever cherished and missed.
