Suzanne was the first born to William and Bonnie Bergstrom. She grew up in Lennox and Sioux Falls South Dakota. She got married to Michael R McMonagle in 1975. They had one daughter, Heather in 1977. They moved to Omaha, NE in 1990 and lived there until Michael passed away in 2024. After Michael's passing she moved to Council Bluffs IA with her grandson Justin, where she resided until her passing.

Suzanne worked in retail before she retired in the early 90s. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them very much. Her hobbies included bingo, going to the casino, playing keno, and shopping. She liked watching game shows and soap operas as well as the Hallmark channel. She was the kindest gentlest soul, always kind to everyone.

Suzanne is survived by her daughter Heather (Russ) Zellmer; her grandson Justin; her brother Jan Bergstrom and by her nephew Travis (late Lori) Buehner.

She is preceded in death by her husband Michael R. McMonagle; her siblings Billy Bergstrom and Nancy Buehner and by her parents William and Bonnie Bergstrom.

Suzanne will be laid to rest at 1 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Sioux Falls, SD at Woodlawn Cemetery.
