Terry Lee Tilden, 66, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away while surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Miller Funeral Home (Downtown Location) 507 S. Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD.

Terry Lee Tilden was born April 23rd 1960 to Jack and Genevieve (Hawkins) Tilden in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Terry grew up on Riverside with his 5 siblings. In the summer his family would stay most of the season at Lake Brant where he would spend his time in the water and at
their cabin which were his most beloved childhood memories. Terry attended Laura B Anderson and Whittier Middle School. Following school Terry was a jack of all trades of many odd jobs leading to his career as a diesel mechanic for 25 years.

On August 28th 1987 Terry and Joy (Egan) Tilden were joined in marriage, through their union they had three children. Throughout his life Terry enjoyed doing many things including riding motorcycles, martial arts, fishing, and water skiing. Terry's passion was to play and collect guitars, he loved a good movie/show, to be outside and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Terry was a selfless person who was willing to help anybody around him.

Terry is survived by his wife Joy Tilden; sons Kyle Tilden (Ashley Dossett) Sioux Falls, Cory Tilden (Mallory) Sioux Falls; Daughter Triana Tilden, Sioux Falls; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild brothers Randy Tilden (Sue) New Hampshire, Larry Tilden (Jolene), Sioux Falls, Dennis Tilden (Charlotte), Sioux Falls, sister, Roxanne Zenobi, Sioux Falls. He is proceeded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Tilden.
