Todd Robert Hudson, 65, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at his home in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 10, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home - Southside Chapel (7400 S. Minnesota Ave., Sioux Falls), with visitation beginning one hour prior.

Todd was born February 23, 1961, in Fairmont, Minnesota, to Harold "Bud" and Janice (Wokasch) Hudson. He graduated from Belle Fourche High School and went on to attend Brainerd Community College. Throughout his life, Todd lived in Belle Fourche and Watertown, South Dakota, Fairmont, Brainerd and Aitkin, Minnesota, and Nixa, Missouri.

A natural salesman, Todd never met a stranger. He built a career in sales, working at several car dealerships before spending his most recent years at Home Depot.

Outdoors is where Todd truly came alive. Fishing and hunting weren't just hobbies for him — they were a way of connecting with the people he loved, and he cherished the time spent in the field and on the water with his nephews and close friends. He also had a passion for cooking and gardening, and took particular pride in smoking game meat to share with friends and neighbors. When he wasn't outside, Todd could usually be found watching a good movie with Hoover, his beloved dog and constant companion, close by his side.

Todd is survived by his sisters, Mary Jo Felion (Kenny) of Granada, Minnesota, and Teri Dirks (Chris) of Harrisburg, South Dakota, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will carry on his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
