Tyler Andrew Kippes, 23, of Sioux Falls, SD, tragically lost his life on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Our Beautiful Boy

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Tyler, a cherished son, brother, uncle, friend, nephew and grandson.

Tyler was a beautiful soul whose loving and joyful nature touched everyone fortunate enough to know him - even those who met him only briefly. He loved others deeply, sometimes to a fault, and always put their needs before his own. He was the kind of person who would truly give someone the shirt off his back without hesitation.

His smile always lit up the room and made you feel like everything was ok, his generous heart, and happiness brought complete joy to his family and friends. He had such a bright future ahead of him and so much more love to give. His presence was a gift, his life was a blessing, and the impact he made will never be forgotten.

Tyler was deeply loved as a devoted son, caring brother, loving uncle, loyal friend and treasured grandson/nephew. His absence leaves an immeasurable ache in our hearts, but we will forever carry his love, kindness, laughter, and beautiful spirit with us.

Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave will endure for generations. He was truly a blessing to this world and will be loved, missed, and remembered always.

He is survived by his deeply protective and nurturing mother, Amber Mauricio, and three brothers and a sister that had an unbreakable bond and unwavering love for each other; Ethan Kippes (25) and his son Silas Kippes, Seth Kippes (22), Gabriella (Bella) Kippes (20), and Jakob Kippes (17); blessed to be surrounded by beloved friends; Great Grandmothers, Carolyn Huston and Ruth Neugebauer; Grandmother Patti Masmanides (George); Aunts Nicole Gaynor (Todd) and their children Samantha, Alyssa, Natalie and Marshall, April Mauricio and her children Teigan Buresh and Matiz Mauricio.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Andrew Mauricio (Geepa); Grandmother Elizabeth Kippes; and Great Grandparents Ralph and Mary Luecht.
