Verlyn "Gerry" Giddings, 84, of Sioux Falls, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Ava's House Hospice. Military graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Grateful for sharing his life are his wife, Jane Giddings of Sioux Falls; children, Thomas (Rachel) Giddings of Madison, WI, Krista (Michael) Giddings of Cary, NC, Kara Giddings of St Louis, MO, Ronae Neisen Of Russellville, AR, and Brett (LeAnna) Perrett of Lamar, AR; grandchildren, Peter, Andrew, Jack, Kathryn, Evan, Emma, and Katelynn (Giles) Harness; and brother, Bill (Jean) Giddings of Ames, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Elvina (Nelson) Giddings, and wife, Judith (Nelsen) Giddings.
