Obituary

Yvonne Rogalla, age 81, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on May 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and deep love for her family.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Prince of Peace, 4513 Prince of Peace Place, Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation will begin at 12:30.

Born in Grafton, North Dakota, Yvonne grew up embracing the hard work and simple joys of farm life near Warren, Minnesota. After graduating from Warren High School, her innate desire to care for others led her into the medical field. She began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), advanced to become a Registered Nurse (RN), and ultimately achieved the specialized role of Nurse Anesthetist. Her long and successful nursing career was defined by her skill, compassion, and true enjoyment of her profession.

Beyond her medical calling, Yvonne was deeply devoted to her Christian faith and loved the Lord wholeheartedly. Seeking to deepen her ministry, she moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where she attended and graduated from Rhema Bible College with a degree in evangelism. Yvonne was known for her boldness in sharing the Gospel and her passion for leading and attending Bible studies. Her faith took her around the globe, participating in numerous international mission and evangelism trips to share God's love with the world. She moved to Sioux Falls, SD, when she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family, tending to her garden, and was active in her church community.

Yvonne's family was a source of great joy, and she poured immense love into her siblings, nieces, and nephews. She is survived by her brother Luverne (Becky) Rogalla; sister Sara (Fred) Vegge; brother John (Sylvia) Rogalla; and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents Florian and Sara Rogalla; her brothers, Earl Rogalla and Jim Rogalla; her nephews, Lewis Rogalla and Jay Rogalla; her niece, Trish Rogalla; and her niece and nephew-in-law, Leslie Rogalla and Tim Walling.

Yvonne's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at Prince of Peace for the exceptional, tender care they provided to her during her time there.
