Obituary

Zack A. Pfeifer, of Britton, South Dakota, sadly passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Zack was only 34 years old and leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Zackary Aaron Pfeifer was born on March 16, 1992, to parents Bradley White and Kristen Pfeifer. He was born and raised in Sioux Falls and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2002.

Throughout his life, Zack made a significant impact on those around him, especially during his years at the 18th Amendment Neighborhood Bar in Sioux Falls. In 2022, he moved to Britton, South Dakota, to be closer to his mother. While living in Britton, Zack worked at Cliffs One Stop gas station as a sales clerk.

Those who knew Zack best would say that he was always the life of the party. He was quick-witted, funny, and always ready to help others in need. He brought laughter and light wherever he went. Zack also loved scaring people, especially his mother, often giving her heart attacks with his surprise. Zack was a huge fan of the Chargers. He also enjoyed golfing, playing video games, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. Zack's famous quote, "Only the strong Survive."

Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Kristen (along with her husband, Howard Hadding), Pfeifer of Britton, SD, and his father, Bradley White of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by his brother, Andrew (Samantha) Pfeifer; his sister, Veronika White; his stepbrother, Jordan Hadding; his grandfathers, Herald White and Joe Pfeifer; and his niece, Lauren Pfeifer.
