Tommy William "Hoover" Little, Sioux Falls, SD, died July 27, 2009, following injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was 60.

Tommy Little was born on June 9, 1949, in Bakersfield, CA, to Freeman and Beth (Harris) Little. He graduated from high school in Lancaster, CA in 1968.

Tommy entered the US Marine Corps on September 6, 1968. He served two tours as a Force Recon Marine in Vietnam. Tommy received his honorable discharge on December 18, 1970, after recovering from his wounds. He then returned to California and graduated from Bakersfield College as one of California's first trained paramedics. After owning his own ambulance service, he worked for Hall's Ambulance Service.

Tommy enjoyed working and raising his children. After a brief time living in Washington State during the 1980's, he moved to South Dakota in the early 1990's. His passions in life included spending time with his children and grandchildren, and riding his Harley Davidson. He particularly liked taking road trips to visit family members and friends. In his free time, Tommy liked collecting knives and antique firearms.

Loving thoughtful and generous, Tommy will long be remembered by his children and the best father a person could ever ask for.

He was a life member of the Washington State Kiwanis Club Life member of the VFW, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Combat Veterans MC, and Los Demonios Motorcycle Club.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Lola Little; sons, Tommy Little, Jr., Jason Little, Aaron Magnus, Freddy Little; daughters, Amanda Anderson, Mindy Jo Little, Jessica Eagle Star, Tessa Magnus, Sadie Ba; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; mother, Beth June Little; brother, Fred Little; and sisters, Cathey and Sandy.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 Friday afternoon at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Avenue, with interment at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation begins at noon, Thursday with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 Thursday evening.
