Colette Jean Logan, age 58, daughter of Eugene Logan and Sandra (Logan) Clinton, passed away on January 3, 2026, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Visitation will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Miller Funeral Home (Southside Location) 7400 S. Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Miller Funeral Home with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery, George, IA.

Colette was born on January 4, 1967, in Rock Rapids, Iowa, and grew up there with her family. She was a member of the Project Pioneers, a 4-H club in Lyon County for individuals with mental and physical challenges. Colette had a deep love for music and faithfully attended the First Reformed Church with her family.

Though she appeared to be a healthy child, Colette began experiencing seizures at just 16 months of age. Throughout her life, she faced significant medical challenges with remarkable perseverance. She underwent brain surgery at the age of six and again at age 28 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Over the years, she and her family made many trips to the Mayo Clinic as part of her ongoing care.

Colette attended school at River Valley in Rock Valley, Iowa. In 1989, she became a resident of Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon, Iowa, where she lived for 23 years. As her health declined, she moved to Fellowship Village in Inwood, Iowa, where she received outstanding and compassionate care.

Colette is survived by her mother, Sandra Clinton of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; her sister, Colleen Nosbush of Sioux Falls; nieces, Sarah Nosbush, Kylie (Eric) Chesley, and Courtney Nosbush, all of Sioux Falls; nephews Jeremy Nosbush (Tyler Pate) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; great niece Lainey Lahren; great nephews Braxton Chesley, Mason Chesley, Jaxon Kneip, and Kingston Chesley; her aunt, Wanda Middle and several cousins.
