It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Jean Moe, a beloved member of our community from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who left us on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 61. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Eastside Lutheran Church. The family will greet friends for visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home - Downtown Chapel.

Debra Jean was born on March 23, 1964, to Jerome and Betty (Christensen) Haak in Moody County, South Dakota. She grew up in Dell Rapids and graduated from Dell Rapids High School in 1982.

She pursued further education, earning her Secretary Certificate from Nettle College in Sioux Falls. For nearly 38 ½ years, she dedicated herself as an administrative assistant at Citibank, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment before enjoying her well-deserved retirement.

In her free time, Debra found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending time with loved ones or engaging in hobbies that brought her happiness.

Debra's faith was an important aspect of her life, and she was a cherished member of Eastside Lutheran Church.

Debra leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted husband of 36 years, Steve Moe; their son, Derek Moe; their daughter, Lyndsey (Sean) Weaver; and her grandson, Connor Edward Weaver. Debra is also survived by her brothers, Allan Haak, Larry (Tammie) Haak, and Randy (Ronda) Haak.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chris and Gertrude Christensen, and Alven and Alpha Haak.

Her warmth, kindness, and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. We are grateful for the moments we shared with her and will carry her memory in our hearts forever.
