Mui Thi Ho, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at Avantara Norton Nursing Home. Mui was 92.

Mui Thi Ho was born on October 10, 1933, in China. In 1955, she moved to Vietnam with her first husband, and they were blessed with three sons. Sadly, her husband passed away at a young age.

Mui later married her second husband, and they were blessed with two children. They raised their family in Vietnam. When her kids got older, they all moved to the United States.

In 1990, Mui moved to the United States and resided in Sioux City, Iowa, near her oldest son. She helped raise her grandkids and helped out at the family restaurant. In 2014, she moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Grateful for having shared her life are her sons, San (Denh Sao Phong) Vong of Sioux City, IA, San Say (Dinh) Vong of St. Charles, Missouri, Jimmy (Trang Truong) Vong of Houston, TX, and Roger (Kelly Wu) Truong of Sioux Falls, and her daughter, Lay Truong of Sioux Falls. Mui is also survived by her ten dear grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands.

A funeral service will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Miller Funeral Home - Westside Chapel, 6200 W. 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106. Mui Ho will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.
